Junk food belongs in Ontario schools, according to a popular video by two Brampton teens.

Even Queens Park got into this:

A pair of Brampton high school students is challenging a province-wide ban on junk food in school cafeterias with a YouTube video that quickly gained traction over the weekend.

The video, produced by St. Thomas Aquinas student council members Samuel Battista and Brian Baah, was viewed more than 24,000 times by Sunday night, sparking discussions and debate on Twitter and Facebook. Even Ontario Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak tweeted about it.

The video combines interviews with students, scenes from the school cafeteria, footage of speeches and rants by famous personalities to send the message that teens are frustrated by the limited menu choices they face every lunch hour at school.

Who’s a better debater on junk food, you’ve gotta hear these kids on KiSS with Roz & Mocha…
